What is the shelf life of the butter?

Because of the variety of ingredients we use in the production of our butter, we recommend using within 90 days or storing in the freezer.

Can I freeze the product for future use?

YES! Freezing butter is a great way to preserve flavor as well as extend the life of the product. We recommended you allow the butter to defrost in the refrigerator before use.

What butter upgrades are available?

For those who are seeking a richer, deeper butter flavor, we offer optional upgrades to either grass-fed or European butter for your base. Please reach out to us if you want to learn more.

Does the product need to be refrigerated?

While butter, on its own, is able to be safely left at room temperature for 30 days or more, we recommend that our butter schmears remain refrigerated (when not in use) in order to maintain product freshness.

Is there a non-dairy butter option?

After months of experimentation, we are thrilled to be able to offer a spectacular dairy-free butter option. The non-dairy alternative that we selected provides the quality that our customers expect from us, and has received stellar reviews for both taste and texture.

Can I get margarine for my base?

While we understand that some people will prefer to use margarine instead of real butter, we made a decision that we will not be associated with the use of margarine for any of our products.

What is the shelf life?

Because of the variety of ingredients we use in the production of these products, we recommend using within 45 days of purchase (2 months from manufacture date). Because we do not use excess fillers or extenders in our schmears, for fruit-based blends, we recommend that you use or discard within 30 days. For your reference, we identify the manufacture date with a label on the bottom of the container.

Can I freeze the product for future use?

While freezing will extend the usable life of the product, we recommend that our cream cheese based products not be frozen, as the texture may change during the thawing process, potentially becoming lumpy, flaky, or grainy. Previously frozen product is perfectly fine for use in baking applications, but may not be as satisfying as a schmear.

Can the cream cheese be used for baking?

Our cream cheese can be used in any recipe calling for cream cheese. Please note that the blended ingredients in our cream cheese will impart flavor to your final dish(es).

Do you offer a plant-based option?

Does the product need to be refrigerated?

Because cream cheese is more perishable than butter, both the cream cheese blends and dips should remain refrigerated until use. It is recommended that you return the product to the refrigerator within 4 hours.

How long can it sit at room temperature?

Ideally, cream cheese based products should be consumed within 4 hours of being removed from the refrigerator. After 4 hours, the remaining product should be returned to the refrigerator or discarded.

Sour Cream vs. Greek Yogurt (dip)?

Both options are incredibly tasty. The choice comes down to personal prefernce. Choosing sour cream offers a slightly creamer flavor due to the higher fat content. Choosing Greek yogurt offers a slightly firmer texture due to the higher protein content.

Is this made in a home kitchen?

Because we value health & safety, all of our products are produced in a commercial kitchen, inspected and approved by the Department of Agriculture, with all proper safety certifications and licences.

Where can I find you locally?

You can find us at local farmers markets and festivals around the Atlanta area. Please join our mailing list and check our calendar of events to know where we will be. We are always looking for retail partners who wish to carry our product for their customers as well.

How do I receive my product?

Pickup and delivery options are listed on our checkout page. We also offer local product pickup at the farmers markets and festivals we attend.

What is your shipping policy

Due to the perishable nature of our product, all products are shipped via USPS Priority Mail (Next Day Air is also an option). We add freezer packs to every shipment to keep them at the appropriate temperature during shipping. We ship only on MONDAY, TUESDAY, & WEDNESDAY in order to ensure our product is not sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. During the warmer months, we may limit the locations we are able to ship to.

What is your return policy

Because all of our products are both perishable and custom-made to order, we do not offer or permit returns. If you are not satisfied with your purchse, please reach out to us so we can identify what went wrong and work together to make it right.

Can I order larger sizes?

We limit the container size based on maintaining the flavor and freshness of our product. If you find that you are using our products more than expected and want larger sizes, please reach out to us and we will be thrilled to work out a solution for you.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

We are currently exploring wholesale pricing options as well as expanding our local pickup locations. If you are interested in retailing out product and/or establishing your location as a customer pickup location, please email us so we can schedule a time to meet with you and discuss specifics.

Can you create proprietary schmears for my café' or restaurant?

We would LOVE TO! This type of personal service is what we live for. We would be happy to work with you to create a signature flavor that is unique to you. *Note- The recipe for your blend will not be shared with or duplicated for any other business. Contact us so we can schedule a time to meet with you and discuss your needs.

How can I set up my business to be a customer pickup location?

We would love to discuss establishing your location as a customer pickup location! Please email us so we can schedule a time to meet with you and discuss specifics. We are always happy to partner with local businesses.
